Frank Taylor of Reedsport, Ore.,
pulled a new one on Klamath geese
hunters recently when he covered
himself with tumbleweed In the Tule
lake district and crept up on a large
flock of feeding geese. He was in the
center of the flock before they noticed
his ruse, and when they flushed, the
hunting was so good he brought down
his day's limit without moving from
his tracks. '

for speeding and $20 for overloading
truck. He was nrrented by state

mountain road "Wednesday. For
speeding, R. R. Dormer of Portland
was fined $10, Joe Daniels, $15 and
Eugene Birlew of Portland $10. The
latter was arrested yesterday while
enroute to the Thanksgiving day foot
ball game at Ashland.

Weed, Cal., to be with her mother.
She was born at Medford, December 6,
1S85, and was aged 40 years, 10
months 19 days at the time of her
doath. Decoaned was the wife of
Frank Iluelna of Weod, Cal. She
leaves her husband, one son. Fay
Moore; her mother, Mrs. H. H. Hakor,
Medford; her father, J. S. Foster,
Talent; two brothers. James W. nnd
Mark. Foster, Medford, and one sister,
Mrs. U. S. Beck, Ashland, Funeral
Borvices will be held at the Perl
Funeral Home Saturday at 2 P. M.,
Rev. J. D. Howe officiating. Inter
ment In Medford cemetery. -

MIbs Thelma Beeson, well-known
local resident, and Charles Snider of
San Francisco were married last
evening at 8 o'clock at the home of
Rev. E. P. Lawrence in the presence
of Invited guests and relatives, with
the ring ceremony being used. A
wedding supper was served at the
home of her uncle, C. P. Talent, after
which the couple left for Klamath
FallB, to return to Medford today and
leave this evening for San Francisco,
where they will make their permanent
home.
The bride Is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. John Beeson, is a native
daughter of Jackson county and is a
graduate of the local high school. For
two years past she has been teaching
at the Tolo school. The bridegroom
is Interested in the automobile busi
ness in the bay city and at one time
was a student at the Ashland high
school. . ' '
