served by tho resignation of Colonel

"We do not think a government
employee should attempt to preju
dice public opinion with misrepre
sentations and half truths, espec

senate of the Cnited Htates has felt
this matter is of enough Importance
to have appointed a special commit
tee to investigate and report to tho
next congress."

criticized the demands of tho west
ern livestock interests for grazing
