Craterian theater, Nov. 23.
"What Trice Glory" has been pro-
nouncod by many critics bh the-finest
literary contribution that has como
from the world war. ' Its 'authors,
Maxwell Anderson nnd Ijiwrenco
Stalling were both in the world war. j
, It is called a hard-boiled comedy t
and It nuroly lives up to its name. It i
Is not a tedious sermon against war
but it is rather a play rich in humor
where tho sunshine -of laughter Is
only slightly shaded by tho tender ap
peal pf sorrov.
This cpmedy' drama of the great
war created a sensation when It was
first produced In New York at the '
Plymouth theater, and it has since
lived up to its reputation. H comes to
the Craterfnn with nn excellent cast
hoab'd by Kmmett Corrlgan.
"What Piico Glory" tolls tho story
of a feud between a captain ami a
first sergeant. Through twenty years
these two have soldiered together In
every town from Vera Cruz to Pekin.
On each occasion of their meeting
one or 'he other has suffered defeat
or tasted victory. Once more their
paths cross, this time in Franco dur
ing the great war, and once again tho
delightful duel is renewed. This time
as in the past a girl is the cause for
the renewal of hostilities.
Chnrmaine De Ia Cognac, pluyed

little French girl for whom Captain
