Medford post Is the first American
Legion post In tho state to "crash
through" with 1926 dues, according to
tho state bulletin published by Legion
headquarters. This good start for the
coming year would seem to indicate
that the local post will set a mark that
will lead the state In the 1920 mer
bershlp drive if the balance of the
members all cooperate by paying their
dues at once. A concerted effort will
also he made to enlist every ex-ser-vtco

THE HOME OF BREAD LIKE MOTHER MADE
Many of our customers have frequently expressed surprise that our prices
are always a little lower. This is not at all surprising if you will just bear in
mind that we are not charging you for a lot of things you can't eat. Clerks,
credits, and deliveries are at times convenient, but they do not add to the
food value of what you buy and are decidedly expensive. We save that ex
pense and pass the saving to you and at the same time make shopping a
pleasure by cutting out the waiting for a clerk, or the hurrying because a
clerk is busy. The steady growth of our business convinces us that ours is
the modern way of marketing groceries.
