The body of Alfred Peyton Ooss Jr.,
University of Oregon student, who fell
to his death from the top of the Mult
noinali field gromlstund' just before
the Oregon-California game Saturday,
is to be borne to its final resting place
in Rlvervlew cemetery this afternoon
by fellow Btudents. The funeral serv
ices were held at Westmnlster Pres
byterian church, of which he was a
member. Thirty-five members of his
fraternity, Beta Thetu Pi. attended the
services and sang.

crepe paper take the place of the usual witches on this Hallowe'en luncheon table. The centerpiece
Is a tripod of dowell sticks covered with crepe paper, trimmed with paper pumpkin flowers and sur
mounted by a pumpkin head made of a large circle of wire bent into shape and covered with orange
Crepe paper. The features are cut frdtn dilTcrent paper and pasted into place. A black covered
caldron is under the tripod. Orange and black paper runners decorated with cats' heads arc used for
tablecloths or arc used over a linen cloth, nut cups and favors all being decorated with orange and
black.

toes, 1 currot cut- fine. Vj onion cut
fine, I cup celery cut fine, 1 green
pepper shredded, 3 whole cloves,
teaspoon pepper corns. J, teaspoon
suit, dash of white pepper.
Put all Ingredients into a saucepan
and simmer about half an hour;
strain and reheat. Two tablespoons
of sherry added Just before serving Is
a great Improvement.

a federal prisoner confined at the
