of the state the orders entitling them
to a week's entertainment at Crater
Lake National park.

week end visit to Portland nnd other

The classes in American history and
civics at the high school are inking
up the study of current events nnd

The removal of Rev. B. J. Chaney
from Ashland to Eugene Is a matter
of much regret to the mitny friends of
Chaney nnd his family. Mr.
Chaney has been appointed as super
intendent of the southern Oregon dis
trict of Methodist churches. The pro
motion was granted by the lnte Meth

rone, Mr. Chaney has for three years
