All the Measures on the Ballot to be Voted
October 8 Are Gity Building Measures
They have all been carefully prepared by able, conscientious and reliable men, after a
close study of the facts extending over a period of months and in some cases years.
Every, possible safeguard has been thrown around the expenditure of the money to be
raised through these bond issues and every citizen can go to the polls on Thursday and
vote "YES" on every measure, with the full consciousness and positive assurance that
he or she is voting to make Medford a bigger and better city in which to live.
To build cities men and women must have vision, courage and initiative.
A Bigger and Purer Water Supply Must be Secured or
Medford Has About Reached the Limit of Her Growth!
Many manufacturing plants and industrial enterprises require a large volume of water.
We cannot invite them to locate here unless we are prepared to supply their needs, and
enterprises of this sort bring the capital and payrolls that build great industrial centers.

The removal of the courthouse has become an economic question one of dollars and
cents. It is costing the taxpayers too much in money and loss of time to further indulge
their feelings of sentiment towards the historic old town of Jacksonville. t t

Medford is. geographically situated to become the industrial and commercial center of
Southern Oregon and Northern California. She has within her trade circumference
vast actual and potential resources. She has a remarkable citizenship progressive, en
ergetic, resourceful the best gathered from many lands and countries.
Our action at the polls tomorrow, the 8th of October, will determine whether our dreams
are to come true, our hopes realized and our labor and sacrifices rewarded.
