ABOUT SECURITY

BERLTtf, Sept. 26. (A. P.) The
Oernmn WiU'KiUch to the necurity con
ference Invitation to which wuh ac
cepted by the cabinet yesterday, are
expected to curry on Impririunt pri
vate convernatlonH with the allied
HtateHmen while tho netfotiutionn fur
the security pact are proceeding1. In
fact. IntereHt In political clrclcH here
centers quite as much In theHe private
talk a an in the forma conversations
on the security issue.
It in recalled that the value of the
London reparation conference lay as
much In the gentlemen's agreements
reached between the German and
allied delegates as In the adoption uf
the Dawes plan.
The Germans at the forthcoming
meeting, the duto and site for which
are yet to be fixed, will stress private
ly that hand In hund with the secur
ity pact must go the following:
Reduction of Clermany'n burden of
maintaining occupational forces,
lmmcdlute evacuation of the Co
logne brldgeheud held by the Urltlnh.
Advancement of the plebiscite In
the Kaare valley to a date earlier than
provided In the Versailles treaty.
Rescinding of the Leugua of Na
tions decision to conduct investiga
tions In Germany from time to time
In which Germany sees merely a per
petuation of the military control
commission Idea.
The pro-government organs are de
claring that permanent renunciation
of Alsace-Lorraine constitutes such a
heavy sacrifice that Gormany should
be compensated by these concessions.
