side of the order. Heretofore the
lodges had been unahle to contriliuto
tii funds being collected in communi
ties for charltuble purposes.
A resolution was adopted requiring,
an grand lodges nnd grand encamp
ments to submit their constitutions
and organic laws to tho sovereign
grand lodge In order that uniform
constitutions may be drawn.
This afternoon delegates to tho
sovereign grand lodge, nnd thousands
of visiting Odd Fellows and llcbekahs
took part in a parade.
Oolden Rule lodge. No .78 of Crams
Pass. Ore., toriay won tho third de
gree In the competitive drill. With
this award goes the grand prize, of
fered by tho grand lodge for the best
drill team attending the convention.
