p. m. from the home of Mrs. S. T.
Richardson, 31 Geneva avenue. The
thief, seen by Mrs. Vernon Vawtor as
he made his exit from the house
through a window. Is described as be
ing heavy set and weighing approxi
mately 175 notidns.
He Is said to have entered the
house through an unlocked front door
sometime in the forenoon, staying in
there until 2:30, leaving through a
small window in the upper story onto
a porch roof and then onto the ground.
Nothing else was missed other than
the money, however further examin
ation may throw light on other losses.
The man is said to be quite young,
medium height and was wearing a
grey cap and light suit. Police are
Investigating thoroughly. They de
plore the fact that the theft was not
promptly reported as several hours
had elapsed before they had been In
formed of the fact. In the future, It
is their request, thefts should be re
ported at once if possible.

under an assumed mime, the prosecu
tion fearing he might be In danger of
his life should his Identity become

Owing to the rainy weather of the past week and the fact that
many people have not seen the wonderful exhibits of all kinds,
surpassing these of any other year, it has been decided to con
tinue the fair over tomorrow, Sunday.
All Exhibits Will
Remain Intact
excepting the livestock and the exhibitors have been given the
privilege of removing their stock if they desire. ,
