candy sucker, held in' His mouth as
he fell while playing in his home,
brought death yesterday to Jack Ryan,
2 years old. His mother, after frantic
efforla to dislodge the confection from
the boy's throat, took him to a hospi
tal. An examination revealed that the
boy's neck wag broken, presumably in
the struggle to dislodge the stick at
tached to the candy.
