The bids for the construction of
the now high school will be Oneneri

which means that the contract for the
long desired structure will be awarded
within the next two days. '.
The chances are quite meager that
the contract will be awarded tonight
as, according to the contemplated pro
gram, after the bids are read toniclil
they will be studied in the rough, then
and at a special meeting tomorrow
there will be given a tbbrough perusa
of the various features of the bids
So far as could be ascertained early
this afternoon, there will possibly be
six or eight bids, two of which will
he from local contractors.
