A fire, probably caused by a short
circuit, practically destroyed a Chev
rolet touring car belonging to mill
hands on McAndrews street last even
ing about ti:30. The Dodge chemical
truck was sent lo the scene by the fire
department, but when it arrived the
flames hud already gained such pro
gress as to make the saving of the car
impossible. The firemen who went to
the scene were unable to get the name
of the owner of the destroyed uutomo
bile. High school students may purchase
their school books after registration.
