Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Stearns and
family start immediately for an ex
tended trip which will include Port
land, Seattle, Rainier Park, points
in R. C. and seaconst points. They
will be gone some little time. Mr.
Stearns has recently soldi the Plaza
market to Thomas Hill of Talent and
with his family will take n vacation
of a few weeks.
Mth. T. J. Malmgren of Phoenix,
who had been- convalescing from a
long und serious illness earlier in the
summer, spending the past two
months at Newport goes to Portland

been touring continental Europe dur

turn shortly, after placing the girls
in School in Sweden where they spent
the past year. They have had n
wonderfully pleasant experience and

Swedenburg has retraced her steps

denburg and herself last year when

Europe after taking the girls to their
