produced In this section as last year

ears will be shipped. Orchards have

The apple crop in this locality as com
pared with last year's Is considerably
better. I estimate about 2 SO ears will
cover the output here this season.
Trees are beinK well cared for nnd
fruit will be clean. Hundreds of acres
of apples are living abandoned here.
Leading varieties crown are Yellow
Newtowns about itu percent. Delicious
and Spitzenheris 10 .per cent. Fruit
looks fiood and will run large hi size.
