by J. M. Newell, of this city, while
attempting to pass a load of hay. On
Vest Main street near Oakdale, Wil
liam Mansfield, of Prospect, struck
a car owned by Jack Heath, an em
ploye of the Associated Oil So. The
former was arrested by traffic offi
cer J. J. McMahon for reckless driv
ing and operating a motor vehicle
with no driver's license. At the In
tersection of 4th street and Central, a.
light delivery' car was struck by a
heavy touring while endeavoring to
cross the intersection. The names of
the drivers in the latter accident were
not learned. None of the cars were
