Last night's robbery was the third
loss for the Wilder and Agee store this
year. Jt was .robbed early in the
, spring by Lee Duncan and two com
panions. Duncan Is now serving
terms In the penitentiary for five rob-ra-ries
in Rotieburg, and nn attack on
Wis Jailor, the attack' having resulted
in his Honnatloimt escape und recap
ture lato in the month of April.
Two months ago the clothing store
sustained another loss from fire,
water and smoke when nn adjoining
building was gutted by fire.
The robbery last night was the sec
ond fur this year and the ninth since
the store has been established.
Officers are Inclined to believe that
the robbery was performed by the
two men who accompanied Lee Dun
can on his first visit to Roseburg. At
that time there were known to be
three men Implicated. Duncan was
captured at Marahfield, but the two
men. who were with him woro! never
located. Tracks found near the cloth
ing store building this morning, cor
respond closely to those of the rob
bers, made In the early spring.

207 more Lincoln cars were delivered
to customers during the month than
