the HlKh Sierras, twenty miles above
Kernville, Cal., was establisjhed early
(oday as Mrs. Cora Eliaabolh deSilva,
The bodies of the two victims, who
were members of a week end fishing
party were found late last night bur
ied beneath tons of rock.
Advices froifi Porterville, Cal.,
where the remains were taken, say
that the body of Mrs. DeSilva will be
shipped to Mountain Home, Ark.,
where Mr. and Mrs. James Meese, par
ents of the dead woman reside.
According to versions of the tragedy
by three other members of the party,
the two were left fishing in a moun
tain stream when a heavy rain storm
came up. When the two did not re
turn to camp after five hours their
companions went back to the spot
where they had left them nnd found
it buried under tons of rock.
