passed away at the Sacred Heart
Hospital oil Sunday morning, had

who will be grieved to know of his
death. He was In his eighties, but
until his recent sickness had nevor
shown any of the marks of age. Ho
was of Scotch-Knglish descent. Ho
was scrupulously honest: rarely, if
over. In trouble over business or per,
soual matters; attended to his own
affairs, and Impressed his friends
and business associates with his sin
cerity and integrity. The property
which he operated Is known as the
Cameron Placers, anil because Of
somo difficulties In operation by tho
hydraulic process, has long been con
sidered as an attractive property for
dredging purposes. The later years
of his life had been devoted to put
ting those and adjoining properties
together for dredging equipment and
mining upon a large scale.
