'Good-bye old crutchl"
'T HERE IS positively no longer any"
1 excuse for suffering the agonies
of rheumatism! Especially in the
autumn of your life, when the vital
organs weaken, impurities multiply
and linger in the muscles and joints,
os never before. It is now, just now,
when you cannot afford to guess. No
day returns!
Hero is a joyous fact which can
mean to you a fond farewell forever
to all the miseries the tortures, the
body-twisting pains that you have
suffered from the demon of rheu
matism. It is a fact that rheumatism
means "blood poverty." It is a fact
with the increase of red-cells in your
Mood, impurities re destroyed. It
is a fact that S.S.S. will help Na
ture build these rcd-blood-cells!
S.S.S. is ono of the most powerful
blood cleansers in existence. Its re
sults in thousands of rheumatic
eases have been nothing short of
amazing! The medicinal ingredients
of S.S.S. are purely vegetable. This
is very important to remember! What
can be more inspiring, more won
derful than to sco the shackles of
pain released from your struggling
body, swellings, lingering pains, stiff
ness of joints and- muscles all dis
appear; your stomach made strong;
your face pink with the old sweet
heart glow, your 4lood enriched and
your cheeks more plump as they used
to be. Yon can do it! Take S.S.S., the
groat destroyer of rheumatic impurities.

Mayonnais e
s o e a s y
to uiake that a man can do it.
Few things are easier to make than
ood mayonnaise.
Wesson Oil and a fresh egg beaten
together and seasoned to taste and you
have a mayonnaise you'll be proud ofl
Quickest results are obtained if" the
oil and egg are hot too cold. The ordi-t .
nary temperature of your kitchen is
just right;
Break an egg in a bowl
Add about a tablespoonful of Wesson
Oil. '
Beat vigorously with an egg beater
or a fork until the oil and egg are
thoroughly mixed. How long will that
take? Perhaps while you, count fifty
not as fast as you can count but as
fast as you can beat.
Add another tablespoonful of oil and ,
beat again vigorously. Two tablespoon
fuls and beat again. Two or three more
and beat again.
Your mayonnaise will begin to
thicken a little.
Then addWessonOil four orfive table
spoonfuls at a time, beating well after
each addition until your mayonnaise is
as thick and stiff as you want it. The more
oil you beat into it the thicker your may
onnaisewill be about two cupfulsisthe
usual amount. Never add more than a
quarter cupful of oil at any one timo.
After your mayonnaise is made, add
seasoning. Mix a half teaspoonful of
salt, a teaspoonful each of sugar and
mustard, a generous pinch each of pa
prika and red pepper add a tablespoon
ful of lemon juice or vinegar and stir until
the salt and sugar are dissolved then
pour into the mayonnaise and beat well.
With Wesson Oil Mayonnaise as a
base you can make many delicious fancy
salad dressings in a very few minutes
for instance
INDIA RELISH MAYONNAISE
To one cupful of Wesson Oil Mayonnaise add one or two tablespoonfuls of
India Relish arid mix.
Besides being a dressing for vegetable, egg, cold meat or fish salads, India Relish
Mayonnaise makes a delicious sandwich filling if you drain the vinegar off the
India Relish and use three or four tablespoonfuls of relish to one cupful of
Wesson Oil Mayonnaise.
