day, concluding with the conferring;
of the 32nd decree of Masonry by the
officers of Eusene Consistory No. 2.
Thursday, "May 14, was occupied with
the registration of candidates and
conforriiiK of Lodiro of Perfection de
Krees with the officers of Iloscbtu
Lode of Perfection assisting with the
work. Friday. May 15th, the Koso
Croix and Knights Kadosh degrees
were conferred and Saturday. May 16,
Samuel It. Mother. Venerable Master
of Kadosh, of Eugene Consistory No.
2. assisted by his officers, conferred
the consistory degrees. Lunch and
dinner was served each day in the ban
quet room. ,

ident Thomas L. Turner of the Port
land club of the Pacific Coast Base
ball league, will leave for the east
tonight intending to get new players
to strengthen the, club. . Ho has
been trying to get men by long
distance negotiations, but -failed, so
decided to go in person.. He was
to get a first baseman, a shortstop
and one or two pitchers.
