The Klamath Fulls man's own wit
ness, an auto mechanic, showed there
was nothing In his contention uhout
brakes fulling to work. .M r. Lodge
had previously testified that he was
only going 2H miles an hour.
After the accident Mr. Lodge em
ployed a local mechanic to test tint
the brakes of his car, ami this me
chanic stated on the witness stand
that In the tests he made (it 2H miles
an hour he was able to stop the out
wit hin 30 feet.
Lodge also recompensed Mr, I ler
ford for all damage to the hitler's
wagon.
