Crnndall fell from the barn loft last
week and hurt himself quite badly,
but is able to be out Sunday.
Miss Crandall visited Mrs. Hummel
the first of the week. She is visiting
different ones of her many f rends,

Several of the school children have
been suffering with poison oak.
Borne of the Reese creek pupils
went to trail last Friday evening
for a game of volley ball.
The track meet at Med ford Satur
day -was quite well attended by the
Reese creek pupils and their fami
lies. There seems to he some mis
take, however, in awarding of the
prizes, for late In the- evening lteese
Creek stood second in the rural di
vision, but they were "Viot even men
tioned In the paper.
There will be an all-day meeting
at lteese Creek Sunday, May 3.
Bring yotfr lunch and come. Sun
day school at 10:30 a. in. Just
aftor Sunday school, .Rev. McDonald
of Trail will probably preach, then
the dinner hour in which everyone
should get acquainted. After dinner
Rev. A. G. Iiyera will preach. There

rapid upturn in price today owing
largely to sensational crop estimates
from private but authoritative sources.
Before the first hour of trading was
ended the market t-howed gains of
more than six cents a bushel with May
delivery quoted at $1.58- and July
at $1.47.

of two o'clock p. m., and seven o'clock

mitted to the legal voters of said
school district No. 40, the question of
contracting a bonded indebtedness in
the eum of One Hundred Eighty-five
Thousand ($85,000.00) Dollars, and to
isflue its negotiable coupon bonds in

purpose of constructing and equipping
a high school, or a unit thereof, in and
for said district, and to purchase the

"Bonds Yes." or between the words
