Fully a million geese passed oyer
Klamath 1 Falls Friday morning,
squawking their way northward to
their summer month haunts in the
Pacific northvest. According to the
handful of men who saw them it was, a'
sight not easily forgotten the passing
of tho geese. ' About 5'a. m.'they were
seen on the horizon to the south. FifT
teen minutes later the sky was a ver
itable huge tornado cloud of geese, and
witnesses say that had the flight over
Klamath Falls been a few hours later,
daylight would 'have been- turned to
dusk, so numerous wero tho birds. The
j;ky was filled with them from horizon
to horizon. - Several small flocks of
white pelicans brought Up the rear,
driving the great geese hordes before
them. The pelicans are anchored In
