same medicine. In Cnsopls lekaruv
ceskych, Prague, January 81, 1925, he
reviews the war statistics as nn enor
mous experiment in the effects of ex
posure. Ho found that nono of the
diseaftes generally attributed to expos
ure occurred more frequently among
soldiers than In peace time, although
exposure to frost, wind, dampness and
wet clothes was extreme enough to
amount to a great hardship to the sol
diers. Chodounsky feels that man en
dures these hardships well and without,
suffering any disease therefrom. I
commend Ohodounnky's observations
to the clique of mutually recognized
authorities who are so much Impress
ed hy.ihe effects of exposure among
