well known resident of Medford,
passed away at his late residence, 216
South Orange street at 3:30 p. m.
yesterday., Mr. Roberts was born at
St; Charles, Iowa. Oct. 22, 1878". aged
40 years, six 'months.; In the year
1o6 he was married at Trenton, Mis-
noun and Immediately after took up
hid' residence at Centerville. Iowa,

a week ago, but were denied a license,
tho prospective bride saying she was
only 17 years old. When the couple
came back yesterday, Miss Mulligan
