EXAMINATIONS HELD
LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL
The semester examinations began
at the high school yesterday nnd will
continue through this week, the new'
semester beginning on Monday. Janu
ary loth, when new motions will be
made and new classes organized.
Beginners' classes will be organized
In' each of the four elementary
schools. Those being In charge of
these classes will be, Miss Pickett at
Itoosevelt, MIsh Collins at the Jack
son, Miss Phillips at the Lincoln and
Jliss Canode at the Washington.

and no-100 ($10.00) dollars, and the
further sum of fifty and no-100
($50.00) dollars as attorney's fees,
which judgment was enrolled nnd
docketed In the clerk's office of suld
