spirit is running high hero today in
anticipation of tho basketball game
tonight between tho teams of Itose
burg and Medford high schools. The
championship of southern Oregon lies
between these two tennis, with Med
ford now in the lead as a result of
a one-point victory over Roscburg in
the game at Medford. If Roseburg
wins -tonight the two teams will he
tied for the championship and altho
Roseburg will have a higher confer
ence percentage a third game on a
neutral floor will be necessary, a rul
ing to this effect having been received
today -from the state conference secre
tary. Because of the interest In tonight's
contest the largest crowd over at
tending a basketball game here is
expected.
