By a vote of 310 to 75 votors at
Grants Pass Saturday authorized the
Issuance of a $61,000 bond issue for
..remodeling and enlarging tho present
high school building, which has been
outgrown. Plans for tho remodeling
were, submitted by J, 13. Tourtollotte
of Portland who Was retained as
architect. The new building will have
seaUng capacity for 700 students.

miles south of Klamath Falls on the
Weed-Klamath Falls branch, for trace
of two bandits who late Saturday
night hold up T. G. Young, postmaster
and storekeeper at Midland, and his
partner, P. J. Peterson, and robbed
them of between $6 and $7. in cash
and a watch and chain belonging to
Young.
