and who haH been missing since their

her husband was found lying on tho

KILLED IN BATTLE
SOFIA. Feb. 22. A fight botweon
polico and a band of alleged anar
chists led by a, woman last night re
sulted In tho death of five persons, in
cluding two policemen and' tho
wounding of several others.
Polico ware about to search the
liouso In which tho band was congre
gated when thero was a volley, killing
two raiders and wounding eight. Sol
diers and firemen were summoned and
laid siego to tho placo. Calls for sur
render only brought forth further
shots, wounding more policemen.
Finally the prefect ordered firemen
to destroy tho building. Keroseno was
poured into thef cellar and ignited.
When the flumes reached the upper
stories the three surviving occupants
surrendered. Ther bodies of tho
woman leader ancf two others were
found In the build lug.
