TAe Agricultural Economic Conference
which will be held at Medford next Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday is for the purpose of constructing an agricultural
program for Jackson County. ' '
To Build a Sound Foundation
for this structure it will be necessary to have a free and
thorough discussion of all of the problems affecting FARM
ING, FRUITGROWING, LIVESTOCK, POULTRY and
DAIRYING.
This is a Conference for the Benefit of the Farmers
and Fruit Growers
of Jackson County and they must dominate in the discussions
and formulate the programs of action to be put into effect.
Taxes Can Be Reduced
by the creation of new wealth; settlers are needed to help
create this new wealth arid they must be given reliable infor
mation to obtain immediate results. No land settlement
plan will be a success until those now on the farms receive a
just reward for their labors.
