Dr. B. n. Elliott of Medford was
out among tho poultry raisers of this
part of the valley last Tuesday morn
ing. Mr. Elliott is n fancier of
chickens, and keeps a few Just for
pastime. Ho visited tho White Wing
farm, also took a look at the fine
pen owned by Mrs. C. Carey while
going the rounds. ,
Mr. Johnson an lils mother left the
West ranch in North Tnlent on De
cember 20 for Butte Falls. His sis
tor, Miss Emma, will remain In Phoe
nix until the close of the school year.
Mr. and Mrs, J. W. l'ish made n
hurried trip to Oakland Just after
Christmas, taking Mrs. Mali's mother
and sister home. They report the
weather fine while clown there. Mrs.
