This forum will bo more than of
ordinary significance, following as It
docs Christmas Day. It will be held In
the Craters' dining room at the Hotel
Medford and special holiday decora
tions'wiii be a feature. The price of
the luncheon will be sixty cents and
thero will be one hundred plates.
The forum follows a' conference of
tho secretaries or the Chambers of
Commorco of Klamath Falls, Ashland,
Grants Puss and Medford. Irving
Vlning, representing the State Cham
ber, will assist the secretaries to
formulate a program or publicity for
southern Oregon and will present the
recommendations of tho conference at
tho noon forum.
This will be the last forum In 1923
and Is the lHBth consecutive weekly
rorum which the Medford Chamber of
Commerce has conducted. ;

ports last year probably for the first
time in history, the difference
amounting to $388,000,000, as com
pared with a $J74,000,000 excess in
tho value of exports' over Imports in
the previous year.
The shift of the balancojn trade In
agricultural products in favor of for
eign countries was attributed by the
department of agriculture today
chiefly to nn increased value of Im.

products, totaled $2,315,000,000 last
year, or 780,000,000 more than in tho
