Klamath Falls tho road between that
city and Keno Is finished, and barring
unusually stormy periods there is as-
jnurance that the highway will be open

all this winter, being the first time

all-year connection with-tho -outside

there are about three miles of unim

The more than one million Califor
nia automobile owners will benefit
from slashes In automobile Insurance
rates, which it is proposed to put into
effect on January 1. It was learned
yestorday. Lloyd S. Day, manager of
the Pacific Coast Automobile Under
writers' conference, confirmed re
ports of the cuts In Insurance but said
figures on the exact reductions- were
not available.

Sergeant Woodfill stood at attention
