George Wilson and Russell Johns
were sentenced to thirty days in Jail
today in Judge Taylor's court when
they pleaded guilty to a charge of
petty larceny. The two boys were
picked up some time ago by the police
for stealing tools and equipment from
automobiles in town. The charge
was filed by Edward Gore.

The Elks lodge annual Christmas
tree event held last night was a very
enjoyable and successfol affair at
tended by hundreds of members from
this city and thruout the county.
Autos were parked about tho club
house on the streets for a distance of
a block or two away. Hundreds of
dollars were salaed for the Christmas
work of the lodge among the poor and
needy people of the city.
