elated Pross) Tho Dowagor Coun
tess of Carnarvon, widow of the Earl
of Carnarvon,- discoverer of the tomb
of the rharaoh Tutenkhamun, was
married today to Lieutenant Colonel
Ian Onslow Donnlstoun, formerly an
officer of the grenadier guards. The
ceremony was performed at a regis
try, office here in the presence of a
few friends.
Colonel Dennistoun, 44 years old,
served In the South African war, was
made a captain in 1910 and a major
in 1915 during the European war.
Lord '" Carnarvon was suddenly
stricken in Egypt last Mnrch from an
Insect bite and died on March 29.
