The storm conditions of several
days past in the valley and vicinity
have caused the linemen of the California-Oregon
Power company much
worry and trouble. Thursday night
the wind and rain caused the wires on
the high tension' line to break near
the Savage Rapfds dam, and during
the day Thursday the power lino was
broken at Gold Hill by a falling tree.
Crews from Medford and Grants Pass
made repairs caused by these and
other mishaps, and did much work in
bracing poles.
