was making the turn at the Inter
section and the driver ,of the other

car as another one was in the way.
The fender . on the ,Ford was badly
bent and the side of the Maxwell was

at the office of the slate highway
commission last Tuesday afternoon in
Sacramento, says the Klamath News.
Two types of bids were called for, one
providing for the completion of the
work in 150 days, and the other in
200 days. The lowest bid under the
150-day limit totaled $205,000 and
was filed by Dunn & Baker, of. Klam
ath Falls, and S. S. Schell, of Oakland.
, Oregon, with an offer of $182. 64. Is
the lowest bidder for the work under
the provision of the 200-day limit.

local friends, was quietly consummat
ed at the homo of Mrl W. V. Tiarnum,
on the Pacific highway near Phoenix,

Miss Marlon Elizabeth Harnum, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Barnum
was. united in .marriage to lien
Hilton, son of ' Mr. and Mrs.
Georg Hilton of near Medford.
The beautiful ring ceremony was
read by Rev. E. P. Lawrence in
the presence of the immediate rela
tives. Following the ceremony, a
wedding breakfast was served, after
which the iipung couple left by auto
for a honeymoon trip to Portlnnd.
This populnr young couple have the
best wishes of their many friends.
They will be at home at the Hall
ranch near the R. A. Matthews ranch,
after December 18th.

and the big eruption of the Craters'
club will be the speakers at the Forum
of the Medford Chamber of Commerce
at the Hotel Medford on Wednesday.

Medford Is over organized with lunch
eon clubs and In order .that members
of the chamber may have an opportu
nity to draw their own conclusions the

will explain the functions of the clubs
and their relationship to the Chamber
