TABLE ROCK RDSi
ARE LIVE ISSUES
Furtlior connIOrrniion tias been
given by tho directors of the Medford
(Ilmmbor of commerce to the building
of two roods that would add to the
number of Bcenlc attractions already
available One project calls for a road
to tho top of Itoxy Ann and the other
for a road to tho top of Table Rock
and around Its rim.
As the Table Rock project will not
require so large an expenditure as the
road tq Itoxy Ann It was denied ad
visable that Immediate energy be, ex
pended on the Tablo Hock road and
when completed It will undoubtedly he
less difficult to secure the funds to
build the Roxy Ann road ns the resi
dents of tho valley will realize the
value of such Bcenic drives. Alex
Sparrow heads the committee which Is
(o Investigate the feasibility and cost
of tho proposed Table Rock road. An
other committee will be appointed to
work on the Roxy Ann project, how
over, It will take a longer-time to com
nloto this as there are a great mar;'
more owners of property that will have
tc bu dealt with on account of the
length of this proposed road.

Ford Trucks Are Bought
. On Performance Records
If you were to ask a hundred or
a-J thousand Ford truck, owners
why they use Ford trucks in
preference to all others, they
would likely say, "Because the Ford
stands up."
They know that under the endless
grind of daily service the Ford stays
on the job month in
and month out, with
very little mechan
ical care, and with
Ford Trucks can be bought on tht
SyeUrcaSe(at.
practically no expense for repairs
or replacements. . They buy to get
performance. '
A few Wght add that the Ford is
the lowest priced truck on the mar
ket. But they would emphasize the
work this truck does, not its initial
cost, in accounting for the fact
that there are more
Ford Trucks in use
today than all othr
makes combined.

'Clean Sporty at Rialto
That tho influence of sports on tho
American youth of today la vory great
is frmphieally brought out in "TrlfliiiK
"With' Honor," tho .special Thankfifflv
lnt? attraction opening at tho Rialto
theatre tomorrow at 12:30.
Tho' introduction of almost every
branch of athletics in tho public
sehooiH hua augmented this influence
to a marked degree,
Jimmy Hunt, tho 'messenger boy in
"Trifling With Honor," was a baseball
fan. Ho never missed a game in his
home town, and he practiced swinging
a bnt so much n round tho house that
ho broke all of tho electrical fixtures.
And ho adored Hat Bhugrue, tho home
run king of tho Pacific Coast league.
It is a picture of intense human in
terest appeal and its characters aro
portrayed by an all-star cast, includ
ing Rockcliffe Kellowes, Ruddy Mes
nc tiger. Fritz! Ridgeway and Hayden
Stevenson.

"THE SPOILERS'"
"Tho Spoilers," Rex Reach's story
tho special Thanksgiving attraction nt
the Pngo theatre has lost none of its
glamor, none of its vividness and no no
of Its drama in tho years that have
passed since it was written.
"Tho Spoilers" la a true picture of
lifo in the gold rush and tho attempt
of certain unprincipled' adventurers
to Jump tho claims of the early min
ers. Rs story has a peculiar fascina
tion over the minds of rd-bloodod
Americans and Is of particular inter
est to local film patrons as many
Medford men and women participated
in some of the incidents picturlred.
Tho cast is one of tho most notable
that has ever been seen in any one
picture.
The fight between Milton Sills, who
ia Roy Olennlster, nnd Noah Beery.
Impersonating the villainous Alex
McNnmara, is without doubt the fin
est screen fight ever filmed. Jt is
stated that it required ; five days, to
film this fight scene,; .
