Monday afternoon, on a charge of
possession and sale, of liquor, before
tho county court, and entered a plea
of not guilty to possession, and re
served his plea, on tho othor count.
Tuckor was represented by Attorney
Porter J. Noff. No date was set for
tho hearing. ,Tuckor was Injured last
fall In the auto races at Salem, and
for several days his life was despaired

when Denis Barry, a native of Cork,
succumbed. Barry was an active,
member of tho independent republi
can army during the fighting against
the British. Ho had been on hunger
strike 34 days. His brother was sum
moned to tho camp last Sunday, but
the prisoner was delirious and did
not recognize him.
Nearly 300 prisoners, are still hun
ger striking. Including many, political,
