WASHINGTON, Oct. 31. American,
flour Is meeting sharp, competition'
Canadian flour in German markets,
according to a report to the depart

partly to the quality of the Canadian
flour, but also to the fact that Cana
dian mil si are satisfied to accept pay
ment In caBk documents' at Hamburg,
whereas American mills will only sell
against Bight draft on New York.
