In Dos Moinos, Iowa, are wanted hero
in connection with the shooting re
cently of Deputy Sheriff Dick Cashatt,
who was woundod after ho had ar
rested Walton. Polico hero also do
claro that the men have been Identi
fied as escaped convicts from San
Quentin penitentiary, California,
where they were serving sentences
for murder.
Deputy Sheriff Cashatt is recover
ing from WaHon's bullett. Ho arrest'
ed Walton three weeks ago after Miss
Gladys Homer, whom ho had taken
for a rldo, had become frightened and
Jumped from his automobile, fractur
ing her skull. She Is still in a danger
ous condition, It was said today.
Aftor Walton had fled with Haines
in another automobile, iwliro bore an
nounced that they discovered both ma
