Falls by way of Crater Lake will be
60 per cent better this year than it
was last," said Will T. Lee, Klamath
county assessor and holder of the Cra
ter Lake National park motor conces

80 miles from Medford to Crater Lake ,
50 miles will be macadamized. Of the
65 miles from Klamath Falls to Crater

A flue fire yesterday afternoon
called out the fire department which
arrived at the scene of the fire on
Mistletoe street in a, short time. No
particular damage was done by the
small blaie, A Chevrolet touring ear
driven by a woman narrowly escaped
a collision with the large firo truck at
the corner of Front and Main and
would have been struck had mot the
driver of the fire apparatus stowed
down considerably, Medford motorists
are again warned that fire apparatus
baa the right-of-way and that everyone
is required by law to pull to the curb
and allow the apparatus to pass when
en route to a firo . - -
