Following the climb of a steeplejack
to the top of the Baptist church
steeple and the fastening of a line
thereto this afternoon, the steeple was
torn down. The line was fastened to
the top of the spire and with a strong
pull on the other end was brought
crashing to the ground shortly after 2
o'clock.
