for today he was taken to the stato
penitentiary at Salem to begin serving
a sentence of two years, following his
conviction on the charge of polygamy.
Officers believed he was the oldest
prisoner ever taken from here to the
prison.
Captain Wetherall maintained his
legal wife at Sumpter, Ore., and had a

and killed -In hor downtown rooms
here last night. . George Lowollyn,
