The Klamath Kails basketball
team, challengers tor the southern
Oregon titlo were beaten decisively
i last night by tho Medford five by the
Bcore of to 23. Allen, who played
center for Medford throe-fourths of
the game, was high point mini, with
six field goals and two fouls-converted
out of four shots Singler was
second with six field baskets while
Beoney and Chitstaln made flvo each.
Williams, Riddle and liaughmaii
made four each and lliiugliman shot
one foul. Knips and Heichstoin made
one basket each.
Tho explanation is that Medford's
teamwork and speed completely daz
ed the visitors who wero unablo to
shoot baskets; pass, cooperate, or do
anything else that Is necessary, with
the exception of fight. Fight they
did from start- to finish.
At tho end of tho first half Medford
staged a little passing exhibition on
the west end of the floor under tho
Modford basket and poured in score
