the Y. M. C. A. schedule brought out a
fair crowd. Tho first game between
tho North Methodists and Christians
was hard fought. The lattor prevailed
in tho end, however, und are now shar
ing the second berth with the North
Wesloyiuis as noted in the percentage
column ubove.
Tho Presbyterian boys strove vali
antly to lift themselvos out of the
cellar but wore not enough for the
coming baptist team. The lattor arc
showing hotter form and will yet
muko a race for the top. The Presby
' boys did not show the speed and ac
curacy of lust weolt, for somo un
known reason.
Borne changes lu the percentage
column will bo seen this last half ot
tho season, If present indications may
bo trusted. Consistent practice is be
ginning to show decided results. Tho
Dnptists will yet give a good account
or themselves. With a couple of their
strongest players out or the lineup,
tho South Methodists will perhaps
find it increasingly difficult to hold
their lead also. With eight league
games yet to bo played it is only a
guess as to who will bring homo the
pennant.
