The people enn not expoet'to secure the kind of stores that their
community is entitled to, on the basis of its population and wealth,
if they are constantly running or sending away elsewhere to buy

The men who own and conduct the stores of Jlcdford arc a loyal

THE TALKING DEALER.
Reduce Those Danger
ous Swollen Veins
I WENT to Iligg the hatter, to buy a Sunday lid; he bored me
with his chatter, ns merchants seldom did. He talked about
the weather, about, the crop of rye, and roundly asked me whether
I voted wet or dry- He talked about the kaiser who now in
exilo dwells, and thought he'd have been wiser to cut out wed
ding bells. He talked about the graces of females he could name,
and spoke nbout the races which are Tinjiiana's game. I said,
"Oh, Higg tho halter, you send a pain through me, for your re
marks are flatter than any spiel should be. I've walked through
weary valleys, down roads where autos skid, through dusty
streets and alleys, to buy myself a lid. I toiled along the high
way, mid up the woodland aisle, and through tho reeking byway,
to get myself a lile. You should be calm and quiet, and place
within my reach, n hat that is a riot, a kelly that's n peach. No
idle themes should enter the eloquence you throw, but all your
tnlk should center upon that grand chapeau. Then, then you
might persuade me to blow five bones or four, but, as it is, you've
Hindi' me resolve to leave your store."
Physicians nre preacl'lbing and
hospitals are using a new and harm

hut also reduces goitre, enlarged
glands and wens. :) '

It is not wise for anyone to allow
