Medford and Salem basketball teams:
"The coming game between the Med
ford and Salem high school teams
scheduled to be played at the armory
Friday evening. Feb. 2; beginning at
8 o'clock, bids fair to be the best high
school game that Salem residents will
have a chance to see this year. Ac
cording to coach Hollls Huntington,
local mentor, the Medford boys will
be able to give the Salem team a
harder game than they did at Med

CHILDREN'S PARTY
The members of the Rebekab
lodge, assisted by tbe members of the
Odd Fellows lodge, are arranging to
provide an evening of amusement and
entertainment for tho children ot
members of these two orders on Fri
day evening, February 9. Tbe child
ren will be assembled at tho Odd
Fellows ball by 5:30, when a warm
supper will be served. Following
this there will be a program of enter
tainment and games until about
8:30. when the gathering will be dis
persed. It is planned to have all the small
er children of Rebekahs and Odd
Fellows In the city, whether their
parents are members of the lodges
hero or not. to bo present and enjoy
this occasion. No effort will be spar
ed to make it a grand success.

Ladles' auxiliary are to give a bas
