dry weather in the western parts of
Kansas and Oklahoma attracted no
tice. The close was unsettled at the

lower; May $1.17 to $1-17 7-8 and
July $1.11 1-2 to $1.11 5-8.
Confirmation of Argentine crop
damage gave the corn market a pro
nounced upturn but for the most part
the erfect failed to last. The close
was nervous at a net gain of 1-8
